Unistrut Enhances Testing Facilities
Unistrut UK has recently invested in a new state of the art 50kN Universal Test Machine and software. With its 200 points / sec data transfer rate and graphical outputs, test component performance can be monitored throughout the entire length of each test. This provides even more detailed information, enhancing both standard testing and product development capabilities for metal framing and support solution products. Test results are archived automatically enabling current product performance to be instantly compared with historical data.
This significant investment allows Unistrut to ensure it continues setting standards for quality products in the market place. Customers can be safe in the knowledge that Unistruts controlled product testing is highly accurate and extremely consistent.
The new Universal Test Machine will be used primarily for short duration testing and will be located in Unistruts Test and Development (T&D) Facility along with existing equipment, which will continue to be used for longer durability testing.
