Due to the expansion of our purpose built West Midlands facility we are currently looking to fill a number of new roles to bring the right blend of professional skills to help achieve our business goals. This is a demanding environment with exciting opportunities. The roles required are:


Setter Operators
You will be required to operate any equipment within the Manufacturing Plant, which predominantly consists of Section Roll Forming equipment. Candidates with setting experience will be favourably considered.

Spot Welders
You will be required to operate any equipment within the Manufacturing Plant, which predominantly consists of resistence spot welding equipment.

Material Handlers
The position will involve the loading and unloading of vehicles as well as general handling duties. Applicants should possess Counterbalance and or a Reach fork lift truck licence(s).

Maintenance Engineers
The role will require a close working relationship with the manufacturing team to ensure that machine repairs and maintenance duties are carried out on range of plant machinery. Candidates should be qualified to at least ONC level in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering coupled with good fault finding capabilities.

Tool Maker
The role will require a close working relationship with the manufacturing team to ensure that tool repairs and maintenance are carried out on a range of tools in the production environment.

Team Leaders
Responsibilities will include co-ordinating and planning manning levels, supervise and coach the team in all elements of lean manufacturing and to monitor performance including maintaining targets and ensuring company procedures are adhered to.

THE ABOVE ROLES WILL OPERATE ON A ROTATING SHIFT SYSTEM. PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT WITHIN A VOLUME PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT IS DESIRABLE.

Works Engineer
The purpose of this role will be to provide advise and guide on the most efficient and effective processes to meet production requirements. The role requires a minimum HNC qualification in production engineering.

Product Development & CAD Technician
The role includes carrying out product testing in accordance with Unistrut s schedule and to undertake CAD drawings to maintain production drawings, data sheets etc.

Quality Assurance Engineer
To ensure that all the business operations and processes meet the requirements of our quality systems and to be constantly reviewing and developing those systems.

Purchasing Administrator
Candidates will efficiently and effectively control the properly authorised and approved purchase of all goods and services under the remit of purchasing. An NVQ or equivalent in business administration is desirable.

Material Plannner
Candidates will need to manage inventory levels so that the supply chain can run effectively and standards are adhered to. Applicants must have supply chain knowledge, material planning experience, manufacturing experience from raw material and metal industries.

Buyer
The successful candidate will source, audit and negotiate with new and existing suppliers. Candidates should hold CIPS professional stage and have experience of working in a buying role, within a global manufacturing environment.

Production Administrators
The main role will be the ability to analyse and plan production schedules to ensure that production operates efficiently whilst adhering to production targets.

Production Planner 3 months fixed contact
The main responsibility of this role will be the production and maintenance of routes and bills within the production processes.

Production Manager
Key responsibilities will be to maximise production efficiencies against standard costs, manage the process for effective capacity planning, manage flexible workforce and ensure safe working procedures are adhered to. A proven track record relating to people management skills is essential for this role.

Production Supervisors (1) Mechanical Section (1) Electrical Section
Applicants will need a proven track record as a Supervisor and be able to manage change. The ability to control people, work and resources is a prerequisite of both roles. An NVQ in Performing Manufacturing Operations would be desirable.
